The last thing the pharma industry wants is a cure for cancer, especially one that doesn't utilize a patented pharmaceutical drug. They make trillions from cancer treatments and palliative cancer care. Imagine what would happen if all of a sudden those revenues disappeared. Isn't gonna happen which is why our MM therapy is being combined with traditional chemotherapeutic agents. It wouldn't get off the ground without those being included. It might get funding if we can get a patent for it.
