Baxter....
I was speaking to a DR of Pharmacology at a large Ohio Hospital. She frequently makes rounds in ICU consulting with Doc's on the very sick of the sick in terms of Drug therapy. i.e. What can we do for this patient that we haven't already done. Of course many of these patients are in multi organ failure as a result of sepsis. She mentioned that they use a filter. In fact they just changed companies.
Now using Baxter Primsmaflex CRRT with a Primsmaflex High Flux. She said that it does remove cytokines by convection.
Any of you know of "Convection" filter?
I'd really like comments from you guys on this one.
