Important article on AMHV. Everyone should be sure to review this as it details the evolution of the company and illustrates some of the very high potential in the new markets for hemp products that are opening up today.

Dominican investment group targets Caribbean CBD product lines
May 15, 2019

DENVER, USA — CBDXR Dominica investment group is owned by Elvis “ Papi” Edwards, a native of Wesley/Calibishie, in the Commonwealth of Dominica. He is a pioneer in the CBD hemp/cannabis marketplace and currently living in Colorado. In CBDXR, Elvis created the first Caribbean-controlled hemp products company and he intends to replicate that success in Dominica and the wider Caribbean.

CBDXR Dominica investment, through the vision of Edwards, is a world-renowned brand. Last October, the group met with relevant government authorities and other business interests to introduce various CBD hemp business opportunities into Dominica.

In September 2018, CBDXR merged with American Hemp Ventures Inc. (OTC: AMHV). AMHV’s mission is to become the preeminent vertically integrated “seed-to-sale” hemp company that starts on the farm and delivers to the table top. The merger allowed CBDXR to expand the reach of its supplement and CBD topicals business into Dominica, and is poised to expand across the Caribbean.

CBDXR products include daily softgels (40mg and 75mg Hemp Oil), RAPID Tablets (35mg Hemp Oil), Full Spectrum CBD Tinctures – (250mg Hemp Oil), and Topical Patches (100mg Hemp Oil).

With CBDXR’s thoughtfully designed product set of CBD ingestible supplements and industry knowledge, as well as the growing demand for CBD, the future looks bright.

There are also ever growing acceptance of the CBD industry taking place in Jamaica, Antigua, St Kitts and Dominica.

Notwithstanding CBDXR Dominica optimism, and Edwards’ tenacity for business development, he is concerned that Dominicans and Caribbean nationals are frequently deprived of the opportunity to invest at home and in the region, and on the same level afforded to non-nationals.

“Dominica has the opportunity to be a leader in the hemp Industry,” Edwards said. “It just has to make the moves early so it does not have to play catch up later. Medical marijuana is growing and we have the opportunity to make a mark on the industry. It is not the typical crop but our agriculture can bounce back if we put plans together to move forward in the industry.”

“CDDXR Dominica hemp business venture presents an opportunity to engage local farmers to boost their economic development and improve their quality of life, alongside a Dominican native, operating a CBD successful venture in the US,” he said.

In October of 2018, CDDXR and his business associates from Colorado met with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Minister of Environment Joseph Isaac and five other ministers where his assortment of thoughtfully designed CBD products were introduced.

Discussions were also held with Discover Dominica Authority, where the CBDXR business proposal was presented. Seven months later, CDDXR Dominica is optimistic that the government of Dominica is moving towards liberalizing the CBD hemp/cannabis marketplace to further boost the economy and enable long-term benefit for Dominicans.

The conversation is evolving quickly among major retailers, manufactures and consumers of CBD products and cannabis-based products. Entrepreneurs are positioning themselves purchasing farm land, real estate and industry essentials.

Multinational corporations are flying around the Caribbean talking to heads of State, former prime ministers, establishing businesses – in anticipation of what was previously unacceptable, now mainstream and expansively rewarding.

CDDXR Dominica is mindful of the global market place and the slow process of doing business in the Caribbean, underscores the necessity, to afford nationals and industry professionals who are already, pioneers, trading products and services worldwide, be afforded equal opportunity, in the legalization of cannabis and acceptance of CBD based products presents, towards the economic development of the Caribbean.
