This is what is happening.
There are a group of sellers. They will sell large amounts of shares at current prices into good bid support.
When bid support starts to become weak, they will stop the selling and buy some shares to drive up the price.
Once bid support starts to reoccur, they start selling again.

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
