When you ate at his home, did he serve fried chicken?

I ALWAYS get asked that! The answer is 'YES'! We had fried chicken and country ham, along with many home-cooked vegetables. His first and original Dinner House was located right behind his big white plantation style home. I figured he just phoned over there and got the stuff they were already preparing for restaurant sales. I might add, it was ALWAYS delicious!!!

He never could eat a hot dog in a bun without dripping yellow mustard on that white suit coat! I would have to wipe it off him every time because he couldn't see well enough to know he did it!
