These are the same companies that continue to use the mold process 20 years after the invention of AM printing. Pouring 15 parts to couple together to make one complete part. IHMO, sell a $3 critical part for $1k additional feature. Instead of including it in the initial cost of the product. Yes, they will try short cuts even when they shouldn’t.
