There's two sides to the Shakerz coin. You win if you were already in, or bought very early. You lose, if you're the late comer.

One good rule of thumb is to never buy a stock that has made considerable gains recently. Only that way can you feel any security that it will not retrace quickly. It's not uncommon for a Shakerz play to retrace MORE than where it was before the run even began.

However, sometimes it can be quite profitable to buy on the retrace, but only after it has fully bottomed. I've seen them recover handsomely, though rarely ever, fully.
