I wonder what Patton was thinking in that picture with Montgomery.

Interesting tidbit about Patton's pistols.

The Colt .45 in that picture was one a pair he carried but he gave one away and replaced it with a S&W .357.

The article also explains why he carried two handguns dating back to a shootout in Mexico while tracking down Pancho Villa.
