They are also covering as the borrow for this stock is thin and near 100% fee therefore being short is not the opposite of being long and anyone long who does not get most of a 100% borrow fee rebated to them (and I imagine most retail investors are not getting this super high rebate institutional investors are) is really really ignorant and disadvantaged as they are making the same investment at a much lower return (or higher negative return) then those who are getting this rebate.
