floored I have been floored before. My dad convinced me to learn an option trading program. I trade with TD Ameritrade and had a Tier 2 option clearance but need Tier 2 W/margin or Tier 3 As I was messing around in my account I managed to get approved for a margin account and now out of nowhere a maintenance require was placed on my SIPC shares. Around $6000 give or take. So now certain spreads (vertical call spread, and vertical put spread) require margin, and what margin I have is tied up in a maintenance requirement. Does that make any Fing sense? I closed my first call trade for $1.40 at 2.85 in about 7 days. Decisions . Go Sipp
