I have never shorted a stock....don't intend to start now. Didn't short it after the Danagas Report. Just sold.

The sp is not reality. There is never a reason for the ups or downs. A buy or short could get one stuck. Have no idea who is doing mindless trades. One day was something like 450 shares. One day 22 million shares. The trade cost on 450 was more than the value of the trade. I guess if you could buy 22 million shares and then sell them for .0001 more than you paid you could make $2,200. Not sure who would take the loser side of that trade.

IMHO There is no outside buyer that would get interested in this...nor any outside shorter that would waste their time. I doubt that anyone is making money on these meaningless trades.
