lol...The Trendspotter works well for me when I'm on an upward trending stock. If it changes or looks to be changing then I re-evaluate. I'm not an expert chartist so it keeps me out of trouble and tips me off if the tide is turning against me.

I don't think it is as useful for finding bottoms though because it may not change to a buy for a while. But I do like it as a measure of the direction of the tide once I'm already in.
