Insiders are flat out prohibited from selling short. Sorry I did not address this earlier. I was traveling.

In addition, Section 16 prohibits short selling by insiders of any class of the company's securities, whether or not that class is registered under the Exchange Act.

Nobody is learning anything from an angry person or shorter making wide claims by trying to make other investors think any insider of any company is allowed to sell their own company's stock short.

Think about the SEC logic, and why insider shorting is a quick ticket to "Go-Directly-To-Jail", "Do -Not-Pass-Go", "Do-Not-Collect-$200".
