Meanwhile LFC Films recently signed a deal with Moxie Motion Pictures and 20th Century Fox to produce a 6 episode mini-series called Gladiatrix: Crescent Moon. Set in the 3rd century AD, the series chronicles the adventures of female gladiators. The series is based on the novel The Crescent by Las Vegas author Cynthia Vespia.

The series will begin principal photography in August and will be shot in Drumheller, Calgary and Las Vegas. 20th Century Fox has already begun promoting the series, recently taking out billboards in Hollywood. One of the billboards features Lingerie Fighting Championships Agatha ‘Cannibal’ Carter while another features Carter and Jolene ‘The Valkyrie’ Hexx.
