If a company disappoints and "screws" over its shareholder, the perception of the company, by shareholders and customers becomes very tainted. If they do not produce 10K and fins, and they continue to dilute, they will no longer be seen as a company with a "good track record". Shareholders also influence the name of a company in the OTC. Its not like Amazon or other Nasdaq listed tickers where the name carries separate from the shareholders. At this level in the OTC - a lot of business is drummed up word of mouth.....
