Tower business changing due to 4G. Simply stated to get LTE speeds to and from smart phones and tablets requires tower to be closer to handsets. It's physics and doesn't matter where it is. So small-cells now the flavor of the day. Small or no towers (co-locate on structures) and cost has dropped considerably down to $75K US for entire cell site including the radios and antennas. Crown Castle investing heavily in the space. The future is all about data traffic and it is growing at an annually compounded rate of 20-40% depending upon what part of the world you're in. So driven by solid organic growth. Companies like Gilat and other network vendors sweeping in building and operatiing networks for the incumbent carriers.
