If Phil Gay didn't believe in GIGL he would not be attaching his reputation as CO-CEO to the company as his pay is virtually nothing. Evidently his ties to GIGL has not hindered his deal making progress in the restaurant business.

GIGL being an embarrassment for PG to be affiliated with is contrary to PG's continued association with the company.

He would have bowed out as CO-CEO long ago or never would have gotten involved as he was well aware of the inner workings of the GIGL through Trip Enterprises prior to his becoming CEO.

Is he remaining as CO-CEO of a company that offers him nothing but downside, embarrassment and loss of reputation without any possibility of gain?

Think about it people. You believe he would stay on as CO-CEO if he truly believed he had nothing to gain?

Oh - but - his company gets paid for services rendered to GIGL and he gets shares. BIG DEAL what GIGL pays in shares and Trip Enterprises for services is a pittance to what this man is accustomed to making.

He would not be bothered if he did not see potential - would you?
