Momenta Pharmaceuticals, a Boston-area biotech, experienced the collapse of a proposed spinout of part of its business to a syndicate of China-based investors over concerns about CFIUS, said CEO Craig Wheeler, leading to the company’s September, 2018, partial shutdown. The impact: 110 lost jobs.
