Eddie Lampert put 5,200,000,000 Dollars on the table and said it was the best decision for the stakeholders.
We all know that shareholders are stakeholders, of course.
BUT ONE THING HE REALLY NEVER SAID.

He never said the shorts will have the last word.
Psst. I don't think Eddie Lampert likes the shorts very well. IMO, if he has to make a decision between screwing the longs or screwing the shorts, he will probably screw the shorts.
Smart shorts started to cover and took long position. The shares are so cheap.
