Maybe, but I have checked in with Industry Exchange which runs the conference ....

They confirmed the Secretary of Energy would actually not be there and that the email they sent out mentioning such is a reference really for the department and not necessarily for the actual Secretary, but Miguel Ángel Maciel Torres will be there as Undersecretary of Hydrocarbons and they said he's the one in the trenches that would be more "involved" at the detail level versus the secretary (Nahle), which makes sense, so that's fine.

They are having a content meeting later and he will check to see what plans they have for Ward but right now he is slated to be there but not necessarily speaking, but he did offhandedly mention he likes Ward.
