LOL, that thought went through my head as well......and is not an unlikely scenario. Core drill rigs use diamond drill bits, using industrial-grade diamonds.

The drilling, BTW, was done in 1943, not 1980. There are no diamonds in Chloride. Or emeralds. Or rubies.

The sampling by Santa Fe in 1980 was a total of 9 surface grabs, most of which were for exploration prospects many miles away from Chloride. Again, surface grabs, not drill holes.

Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
