Based on trial a few years ago, I did not like taste of soy milk in a SBUX product.

Dew may remember some less than hard evidence[his view of evidence then] that soy in general may be less healthy than other oils or other non-soy products. Whatever, I stay away from soy whether organic or non-GMO. I recall the MON and Round-Up safety controversy from a patent infringement suit years ago; it seems to have risen again in past weeks with multiple damages assessed by juries against Bayer/MON.

We tried a BYND product a few weeks ago. Spouse did not like taste of the burger, and vowed she would not try it again. I have a more open mind; I did not think the BYND product tasted like a real meat burger either(might have been my prep method in a microwave with no added ingredients therein; I did add cheese, tomato slice and mustard once on the bun). The product did not improve in taste. The package itself did not tell me whether the meatless product was flavored with sausage, pork or beef flavoring--I gather from that the product was not flavored. I forgot to look at ingredients to see whether soy was one of them
