I think they may want a clear timeline for the audit so that they can confidently provide concrete updates as to what is going to happen, otherwise it could just come across as vague updates like they have already made in the past that has caused some of the frustrations.

So they may just be waiting for that event that triggers a known timing of events which will make the news more impactful.
