Thanks for the link to smithonstocks, It was good reading.
I think it was 1985 when stocks were required to go to street name.
I was accumulating my employer stocks at the time in certificate form and then it all changed to street name.

I lost a shit load of money from 1993 to 2000 and I don't think anything will change. REG SHO isn't worth a bucket of spit and neither are the corrupt deep state politicians of either party.
I havn't seen any honest changes yet.

Maybee we will get lucky this time. Sorry for the rant.
