Without question the brain is also able to restore and maintain synaptic integrity without Bryostatin in the normal brain.

Logically a compound that restores this natural ability to the brain might be safer than Bryostatin and be used at an earlier stage of the disease.

Especially if its in an orally available form with no safety issues.
