Sure and I think they learned a significant lesson from that test.

Also I think they were screening for Fat and thin people making an assumption that people with high BMI would tend to have more Fatty Liver disease. May have been the understanding of the Medical Community at the time too. Turned out to not be true.

Just a growing pain IMO.
