The appeal is not winding down. As I've said before, there are clear signs of the end of any civil suit. They include a motion for judgement, made by the lawyer(s) for one company, asking the appeals panel to rule that that company has essentially won the case.

None of the lawyers has made a motion for judgement, and the court can't make a ruling on a motion that was never made in the first place.

I'll repeat something else I've said recently. There are more than two dozen defendants in this case. I personally expect that some of them will be removed from the case for one reason or another. That hasn't happened yet. I personally expect at least five defendants, maybe as many as ten of them, to disappear before the case is settled.
