I am definitely joining the party, especially when T compares something to Avita. Tdeck your posts have always been reassuring, going back a few years whether it was here or hotcopper your "left handed cigarette" posts kept my spirits up.
I've read your DD and done my own, happy to join the ride. I am 25, my first job was working inventory at my local Nordstrom. FRAN's products look like they could easily slot into Nordy's TBD or BP departments, which says a lot. FRAN seems to have a competitive advantage in terms of pricing, but this does beg the question of quality. Below are two links, one is a FRAN romper and the other is a very similar looking dress from Free People (ticker: URBN): https://www.francescas.com/product/carmen-floral-romper.do?sortby=ourPicks&refType=&from=fn&ecList=7&ecCategory=100122 https://www.freepeople.com/shop/like-a-lady-printed-mini-dress2/?category=dresses&color=080 I will have to take a field trip to a FRANs to get my hands on the product, but I highly doubt there is a major difference in quality. Hell all this stuff is made in China.
I asked some girl friends what they knew about FRAN and they didn't know much, but their style and FRAN's products are complete opposites. So it doesn't say much. Based off the videos you have shared and some homework I did, I feel like FRANs majority customers fall into two categories; teenage girls 14-18 wanting to look older and women in their 30s and early 40s trying to look younger. Which are two perfect groups the latter will borrow dad's credit cards, while the women are likely established and can afford more. Girls my age are confused, they tend to focus to much on brand recognition and would rather pay more on a similar product even though they live paycheck to paycheck. Smarter girls my age likely shop there, but I don't think they make up a majority. Just my two cents.
