L2 shows the trading action. Most of the time market makers are trading back and forth to each other. They have ticker names just like stocks.

Last week MAXM was at the top of the bid stack. I have NEVER seen it do that for ANY of my otc stocks.

MAXM is a institutional investor market maker.

It's not on the bid anymore, but PUMA is getting up there too. It also has a reputation of buying up shares before a big run.
