Founded in 2004, Biodelta is an ISO 22000 accredited contract development, manufacturing, and packaging solutions provider to the health and food industry, supplying capsules, tablets, powders, granules, effervescent sachets and tea. Biodelta's expert qualified personnel offer a complete supply-chain service, and in-house production facilities include research and product development, manufacturing, packaging, packaging design, print and finishing. Biodelta currently operates a 40-acre farm and 22,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility just outside of Cape Town, South Africa.




Value Proposition
Wuhan General Group is building a diversified portfolio of operations deploying medical grade CBD and other plant-based products to help alleviate everyday illness. The company is successfully gaining a strong foothold in Africa to sell CBD by-products. In 2019, Wuhan acquired MJ MedTech, a nutraceutical biotechnology company that owns, develops, and commercializes a range of CBD-based products under the International trademarked brand Dr. AnnaRx. To accelerate the rollout of Dr. AnnaRx, the company secured a JV partnership with Biodelta Nutraceuticals and is expected to have product on the shelves in South Africa and other countries in Q2 2019 and ongoing. The Biodelta JV is expected to help the company rapidly scale sales, while providing the company key assets, including greenhouse and equipment, to drive strong margins.
