Those arguments are "ancient" history.
Unfortunately that was one of the arguments for buying and holding this stock back in Jan. and Feb. But if you want to believe those past statements from Eddie instead of the current facts as stated in BK court documents, that is your right.
But I can assure you that what is contained in the court documents will prevail, not Eddie's past statements. The law may move slowly, but it does move forward.
The next crucial hearing in this BK case is scheduled for May 29, 2019. It will consider the approval of SHC's latest Disclosure Statement.
All those holding SHLDQ shares better hope that this document is NOT approved otherwise the last hurdle to cancellation will be approval of the Chap 11 plan itself, which is currently set for sometime in early August.
Btw, why do you think SHLDQ shares lost about 40% of their value last week? While it may be true that shorts continue to push the price down, apparently there is also little resistance from longs. Also, some longs may finally be realizing what the ultimate fate of this stock will be. jmo
