I've found that in this recently emerging pot sector a basic rule is cost recovery. When the stock doubles, sell the cost shares. I've pretty much followed this over the years for general investing, but particularly with this new sector.

No exceptions is the basic rule.

The reason for posting this is because I'm actually thinking this one might be the exception. As a pot sector infrastructure holding it seems assured of upside potential with limited downside risk to initial principal.

Still, cost recovery seems a good, simple policy: avoids tax penalties, builds a portfolio using the same money over and over. Makes each investment step deliberate for long-term investment as a fundamental orientation.
