From what I've seen over the years... a Chinese patent from a foreign company means nothing in reality. Chinese business will buy the product, strip it down, dissect it, reverse engineer it and then make in their own factories and sell. Giving the patent holder nothing. That's what the US is fighting with China about right now.
Sorry, nothing personal to you or China, but these are the facts. China has been doing this for years. Just saw a chainsaw posted - Chinese knock off. Same color, same font on the label but had ONE letter missing from the name plate, so they could say it was their own design. Cheap inferior parts.
