Yes, the blocks were taking too long so per their algorithm they reduced the difficulty level of mining the blocks to get more computing problem on the issue. Miners were able to mine a lot of coin at 1/4 the usual difficulty level. But it resets over time and the freefaucet.io peeps were buying up a lot of the coins for their faucets to help the price recover but probably still some to be sold by miners.

I think over time it will level off but that huge amount of coins were apparently dumped immediately and automatically at the bid price all the way down to about 1/2 cent or so so some damage was done.
