The deal is the best case scenario and hopefully it will go through. I will be voting yes as both a Canopy shareholder and an Acreage share holder. I have posted reasons for the deal but have not heard a convincing argument against. Worst case scenario I own shares in the biggest company in the US and shares in the biggest company in Canada. Best case scenario I own shares in the biggest company in the world. This is an evolving industry so we must be vigilant. The guys on the ihub canopy board have been more informative on this subject than all of the people I have paid money to for advice. I am a cautious type so nothing is done without looking at every aspect I can forsee or control. Beyond that...... ya just gotta take it as it comes :)
