Johnny, My point was that there's no reason to go hog wild into an ultra high risk play like VTGN. The bio casino is a widow maker, and is the fastest way to the poor house.

I learned that lesson years ago, and now just stick to broad (and boring) ETFs. It's fun to follow biotech as a hobby, but better to put your money into safer areas.

Fwiw I have a $1000 limit per individual stock, which sounds low, but there are so many great stocks out there that before long you end up with an awesome portfolio and much lower risk -

Keep bio as a hobby and avoid the killer blow ups that decimate your portfolio. That's a lesson I learned the hard way. You can still have fun with stocks, just have sensible position limits.
