Most investors assume company stock buybacks will stem the tide of a falling share price. IMO in some cases it may, but I don't think it's written in stone it does.

I say that depending on the amount of shares being accumulated by the company and whether or not some other type of manipulation of the share price is occurring. I personally like to see Management (doesn't have to be the Company) coming in to accumulate shares at a point when they KNOW the shares are drastically undervalued. That has been done at times by Keith and other company officers in the last few years, but the amounts they are buying are very small and IMO aren't enough to really matter. It was just for show with little consequence to the markets IMO. Nobody noticed.

The best thing that can be done IMO is to tighten spending as much as possible and continue to focus on finding gold and adding value to our properties until at some point we move back into a PM bull market.
