Come on smoker, ZB keeps flashing its hand when it comes to Si3N4. Hiring Pezzotti's assistant, hiring Dr. Lal with his extensive Si3N4 experience, & the continued hiring of Senior Research engineers to oversee ceramic and metal R&D projects. Some of those projects are being worked on in NJ where a Mr Robert Gill is trying to enhance TM with disruptive technologies. Theres also the addition of Jafry to ZB BOD that is highly suggestive particularly when you consider Sintx antiviral/antifungal patent application filed within a month of Jafry being added.

The sale of Valeo makes sense in ZB eyes because it was never interested in Valeo. Valeo was Sintx way to commcerialize a product until a hip implant could be succesfully developed. If Gill's work is telling at all, ZB is more interested at enhancing TM. Plus with the new Si3N4 in peek IP, ZB could enhance all its PEEK spinal implants and maybe then be competitive in spine.

All in all, I would say Hanson's actions match his allusions.
