Hey Guys, some DD from my time at Rotmans today
Have a bunch of pictures but not sure how to add them here.

Overall, it was a great trip! Most OTC company's are smoke and mirrors; it was a wonderful feeling solid ground beneath my feet, meeting friendly sales representatives, inspecting merchandise and tottering around the place.
Definitely a family run shop with tons of brand loyalty. Was told customers buy furniture at Rotmans because their parents bought furniture there.
Store is absolutely massive, 6 floors and tons of space! There is even a small warehouse "on campus" with the main warehouse being nearby. Every nook and cranny was covered with furniture, beds, mattresses, rugs and decor; everything was for sale with one exception; Steve's Seeburg jukebox (looked just like this (https://etsy.me/2LzQ01G) {Also, Steve is a collector and a good portion of his collection is made up of rare baseball cards but they were not displayed for the public}

Mattresses and Bedding are a HUGE part of the store and there are displays on 4 of the 6 floors.
I tried out the Vytex pillows, toppers and mattresses. They felt very plush and comfortable; with most memory foam toppers you sink in and the foam takes a while to bounce back when you roll over. Vytex is an extremely resilient material and moves as you move, which is a remarkable feature. It is also perforated with graded perforation, the holes growing bigger towards the center for enhanced breathability; a wonderful design touch
There are 3 different types of Vytex 'Cloud' Mattresses- firm, medium, soft and the difference is the amount of Vytex foam added. All Vytex beds came with remotes and the head and foot sections adjusted independently of each other. I put both the head and foot sections up to their max and it felt like I was lounging on a cloud; absurdly cozy and plush.

One note on the bed-in-a-box sales; a rep told me how they see customers all the time who bought from Casper, Purple, Leesa and the like and 6 months out are buying another mattress at Rotmans because theirs is no longer comfortable. Rotmans is clearly aware of this trend and from what the representative told me, their bed-in-box customers are completely satisfied and they have heard no complaints thus far (must the Vytex Factor!).

Saw several RxAir purifiers all around the store and was told they are one of the Rotman's pet projects. The employees really believe in the Rotman family and what they are doing. From what I gathered, from the employees perspective, Rotman's is acquiring Vytex!!!! Merger is happening and it's a matter of crossing t's and dotting i's. This is going to be huge!!!

From an outside perspective, I understand the motives behind this move. Most brick and mortar stores are feeling the pressure from online sales from Amazon to Wayfair to Bed-In-Box platforms. This merger is designed to increase Rotman's presence, increase their revenue streams and increase online presence; primarily bed-in-box sales with Vytex materials. (Not to mention Vytex's NOLS will be of huge advantage to Rotman's millions and millions in revenues...as Buffet and the like advise, Cut Uncle Sam out and you get to keep your 45%)

Overall, Vytex by itself has so much going for it with the Hughes Reactor, Vytex NRL (bedding, medical gloves, balloons, tires, you name it), and Rotmans will be the glue to hold it all together, providing massive amounts of liquidity up front. Huge moving coming post merger, congrats to all the longs!!
