How about the flipping 100 shares that I just bought a little while ago on the bid!!

It is hard not to come away from that with a belief that someone or some entity wants to show the stock trading down

News flash - I am not moving, not budging

That bid is going to be there until it either gets filled, or the stock runs away from me and I have to chase it.

It is a GTC order, so I don't have to deal with multiple commissions
