It would not surprise me at all if in a few years they were a network-only company, and everything else was spun off.

I think Cue-Rx was pushed as PR more from a strategy standpoint than a product standpoint. The FCC needs to confirm spectrum will be put to use in viable businesses, and not just stockpiled.

Cue-Rx could be used in every market, which checks that box. They can demonstrate business viability, thus justifying why the FCC should accept their application on behalf of IOTA or their future lease holders.
