Comments on RCP FF Small Buyout Co-Investment Funds (SBCF).

RCP has offered 3 of these funds in the past. Their funding histories follow:

original SBCF: Form D filed 5/26/11; 100% subscribed ($303M).

SBCF II: Form D filed 5/21/15; 100% subscribed ($328M).

SBCF III: Form D filed 11/3/17; 100% subscribed ($328M).
Form D/A filed 4/12/18; 100% subscribed ($363M).

These Funds seem very popular as all were 100% subscribed when the Form D's were filed. Not sure why they waited 4 years between the first 2 offerings nor why they waited 2.5 years between the last two. Another 2.5 year wait would mean the next offering (SBCF IV) won't come until May 2020.

Just have to wait and see how this goes.
