FNMA and FMCC are Exempt from the registration requirements of The Securities Act of 1933.

While both entities do file reports under the 1934 Act they are exempt from the registration requirements for entities not considered to be government sponsored entities. This may impact the speed and possible exercise of the warrants owned by the US Treasury.
