Cons They Dont care about their employees, they laid off more than half of the company just like that, no warning, right after they worked everyone like slaves, horrible pay, The VP is a absolute BUST he is a micromanager hes down everyone's back all day he has absolutely no trust in anyone. He has No idea what hes doing. They do not give raises. Ungrateful company! -- Cons Overly focused, $$$ spent on Marketing and Sales Operations not developed / staffed to support company growth Product quality / manufacturability not sustainable enough to become profitable Advice to Management You've lost or pushed out a lot of talent due to a top heavy, largely ineffective executive management team. Reduce the number of VP's and invest in middle mgmt. and professional level employees to advance operations and support company growth if your sales ever come back. === an 22, 2019 Obalon Therapeutics Logo "New CEO is a Bust" Current Employee - Anonymous Employee Doesn't Recommend Negative Outlook I have been working at Obalon Therapeutics full-time Pros None that come to mind Cons New CEO is not trustworthy or experienced, a warm body to fill a chair.
