COSTA MESA, Calif., May 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE -- Sipp Industries, Inc. (OTC: SIPC), a multifaceted corporation specializing in manufacturing and distribution of commercial and consumer products, and the first publicly traded company in America whose primary focus is the production and sales of hemp-infused beer, announces it is finalizing terms and conditions with a large brewery in the greater Dallas area to penetrate the state of Texas with flagship brew, Major Hemp HIPA, as well as additional hemp and CBD-infused beers.
Last week the Texas House of Representatives, by unanimous vote 144-0, approved a bill legalizing the cultivation and production of hemp in Texas. House Bill 1325 which is authored by Rep. Tracy King, D-Batesville, would enable farmers to grow hemp as an industrial crop under a regulated state program. The bill, which is now in Senate, would also legalize hemp-derived products made with CBD oil.
Ted Jorgensen, President of Sipp Industries’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Major Hemp, completed high-level meetings with the owner and operator of a large Dallas area brewery on producing and distributing hemp and CBD-infused beers throughout Texas and surrounding states. Jorgensen stated, “We’ve identified a great brewing partner that will enable expanded production and geographic reach for our hemp and CBD-infused beers. We are in the process of testing an initial batch of Major Hemp HIPA with our TTB approved formulas, and plan to add CBD beer pending final regulatory approval.”
In preparations for doing business in Texas, Sipp Industries has initiated the process of applying for licensing with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). TABC is the state agency that regulates all phases of the alcoholic beverages industry in Texas from sales, advertising, production and transport of alcoholic beverages throughout the state of Texas.
The Company also announces the latest run of Major Hemp HIPA with Church Street Brewing Co. has been packaged ahead of schedule. The newly brewed hemp-infused beer is being shipped to Midwest distributing partners including Mahaska, which has reported strong initial sales throughout the state of Iowa including a notable national chain that is test sampling their first hemp-infused craft beer.
Chief Executive Officer of Sipp Industries, Syman Vong concluded, “We are eager to add Texas to our existing markets in Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas and Illinois. Texas is one of the largest U.S. markets in terms of beer consumption. The brewery’s vast network of multi-state distributors and friendly state hemp laws, present an outstanding opportunity for us to expand our hemp and CBD-infused beer product lines nationally.”
