Don't know if this applies to our situation or not, but my research indicates that a "legitimate" (emphasis mine) board of directors have the power to fire a CEO by vote if they choose. So, if James Haas is one of the board members, then this recent interim guy was hired on a "let's see what he can do" basis only. Which means Haas and other board members --- whoever they are --- could dump him on a whim.
