If you bother to call Idaho power and ask them about supplying power to the mill they’ll tell you they can’t.
The mill is located between two end of line runs.
No suitable power lines from Murphy or mountain home to supply adequate 3 phase power
Quick call to Idaho power should confirm that I’m not full of BS.
You could run power from the old Kinross mine but that would mean going over War Eagle mountain.
At least 25 mile run.
Either way huge $$$$
New generator to replace the non compliant one at the mill would cost about $150,000 plus.
