This is no prototype. Late stage prototypes were hyped by world-renowned surgeons last year while developing training protocols. This is the real deal. This is what hospitals will buy next summer.

Software? Who among you hasn't had your cell phone update to Pie or the latest iOS, or the bi-weekly Win10 update... High tech devices are never complete from a software standpoint. By launch time next year, they will have added more redundancies and safety features, better firewalls, more features... Just like every other piece of high tech hardware we all already own. Today is still a landmark day. Software is eternally flexible and must remain so to allow future competitiveness via new features, and future security against hacking threats.

As for hints that Verb is part of this project, I remain dubious. It's too early for our system to feed their eventuality. I still think the Verb program is an overlay to an OS for a system such as ours; it will map patient parameters against surgeon movements and stored images in a database, and eventually allow the automation of common surgical procedures by database evaluation, image recognition, and replication of surgeon motion. For surgeons touting Verb technology, I believe they are promoting their own demise... but if that's the future of robotic surgery, as an investor I'm forced to be on board with this technologically-driven future. But if/when this comes to fruition, Titan should have made a killing by selling this data to Verb as a gigantic additional revenue stream that has yet to be mentioned by management. This all is my interpretation of what is currently happening RE Verb and Titan. Just that, and maybe nothing more. Or maybe a lot more!

The DF news this morning is absolutely amazing. We have an official prototype now and it is being tested as we speak. I can promise you that the secret embedded software is also installed and working. We just do not know who the developer is. We longs have never been at this stage in the game and we will have more and more eyes on this baby as we inch closer and closer to "Rebranding"!
