During the past five years, Alan Smith, as President and CEO of Evolution Equities Corporation, has provided independent financial consulting services to a variety of startup and development stage companies in the technology, resource and consumer products sectors. Additionally, Mr. Smith has been an active investor in a number of startup ventures while managing his own personal equity portfolio. Mr. Smith is a Chartered Accountant and has provided audit, tax and financial consulting services to a wide variety of small to medium sized companies during his 35 year career. Mr. Smith obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1978 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Additionally, Mr. Smith earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1975 from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) in 1973, also from Queen's University.
