I will say this about coal, exports are at its highest in 5 years (probably more) while production has declined. Demand will probably decline in the future so its not exactly the easiest bet to make. Prices are still relatively low. Can they go lower? Probably, so felp will need to make it up in volume. At least export prices are rising...dunno could get cheaper stuff from australia or russia or china or wherever. So again not the easiest.
I dont think this is a slam dunk but its a decent shot if exports continue to rise and shit. Again, volumes. Id rather own Appalachia coal than illinois so theres not a whole lot going for felp. Ib are at '15 prices. Just being honest.
